I got sick in the middle of the week and felt bad Friday and Saturday. Sunday I was still tired. I think it was bad allergies and the meds I took messed me up.

The runs I did all felt good and controlled. It is a little hotter so I can feel that dragging on me. But everything feels good and I'm just going to keep working back slowly.

  1. Keep it rolling if you can. Your paces still look good and I'm sure once you are able / compelled to ramp up training again, the times will likely fall quicker than they have in the past.

    I'm going to try something new this week in my own training. Its often said that the hardest part of any run is taking the first step. I'm going to run 2 x 5miles and 1x7 mile as my base workouts, and I'm going to try to run 2 x 15-45min supplemental workouts...give myself a window of time and see if the motivation is still lacking by the time the 15minutes is up.
