  1. How did it go last week?

Are you still planning on racing Thursday night?

  2. It was as good as could be. Full disclosure, my dad has terminal lymphoma and is in a hospice facility. Because of that I may be doing some travelling on weekends.

The stress got to me and I missed the Thursday workout. I'm not happy about that because I was looking forward to it, but with the stress and my stomach bothering me (the free continental breakfast has a price!) I was wiped out Thursday.

The run Friday left me with a sore right ankle and hamstring. Kind of a repeat of what I was feeling after the last track workout. The sidewalks in Naples are really irregular where I was so I ended up getting stuck running on surfaces that were high on the right side. That's part of why I didn't run twice Friday and missed Saturday. Sunday and this morning everything felt normal. Very happy about that.

All the running I did felt good despite getting a little beat up. Very happy to be home.

  3. I'm very sorry to hear that.

I noticed you averaged a pretty fast pace for most of your running last week. Good luck on Thursday.
