Week: 28M
I'm still getting over being sick last week. My breathing was tough and I had a cough. My legs feel great, I'm just short of breath. Talking to Paul for almost the entire run wasn't helpful.
This week I will do a tempo. ~7:20 for 3-4M or 20:00.
I didn't hear from you last week. I hope everything is ok.
Sorry about last week, I got a little behind and never got back to you. Its very cool that you found a running partner...looks like an excellent one at that. I think running with him is going to be huge for you. You might ask him to help pace you for your tempo...let him do the talking though.
ReplyDeleteWe had a sad story in Richmond yesterday. A girl I ran track with in HS got hit and killed by a drunk driver at 8am in the morning. Apparently he swerved off the road onto the shoulder after coming around a turn. Its weird, sometimes I try to think of what my move would be if some car swerved toward me...like, how would I time a jump and roll move or something. Anyway, it makes you think. Be safe out there, and try to cherish your life, friends, and family.
Ugh. That's terrible news. I hope everyone affected can come through that ok.
DeleteIts awful. I forgot to mention she was out with her husband running, and he saw the whole thing happen. Its crazy, like 40,000 people have pledged to run in her memory on Saturday...the running community can be pretty amazing.
