Week: 50M
My feet are feeling pretty beat up so I'm going to take it easy for a lot of next week. I'm convinced my ankle issue has stemmed from running in the Cadence 2s.
Happy New Year!
Running-wise this has been a great year for me. I appreciate everything you've done over the last 12 months more than I can say.

Sorry it took me so long to post. Is the ankle better? I like the idea of a down week. Take it really easy this week, and then hopefully you'll be ready for some workouts. Cut mileage and pace if you have to.
ReplyDeleteThey made a fast comeback after an 8.5M trail run New Year's Day. I don't understand it because I went out a little sore and finished really sore with a few blisters. I ran my regular effort, but was a little slow because the trails were sandy and uneven. I was also wearing my MT20v2 which are really thin so my feet were pretty sore for the rest of the day, but by Wednesday morning everything felt great. Maybe soaking in the cold springs right after helped? Anyway, I'm taking it easy this week by taking a couple days off, but I'm still trying to do a longer easy run on the trails Saturday.
