Had to take Wednesday and Thursday off because of the weather. Had to take the weekend off to travel and take care of some stuff. My car got totaled Monday and I had to get into a lease Saturday. One of those blessing-in-disguise situations.
All my running felt good despite the heat and humidity. Everything felt controlled and even.
Its been a bit of a hectic week for me too. I meant to leave a comment earlier, but never got around to it. Scheduling and consistency at this stage of our lives is one of the trickier aspects of training to manage. Things just seem to come up unexpectedly. Sorry to hear about the car, hopefully you didn't get hurt during the totalling incident.
ReplyDeleteMy personal training schedule usually becomes very fluid in the summer. I will even change workouts based on the weather. If I have a 3xmile (5K pace) workout planned and its going to be 95*, I will switch to something like 4-6 x200 (400-800m pace).
Keep grinding.
