I ended up with a lot of social stuff this week hence all the missed days.
I'm probably going to take some of this week off. My ankle was bothering me a little last week and I don't want to risk re injury. It is only annoying and not painful. It isn't bothering me when I run, just in the morning and during the day at the office.
Also, I got bit by the Bass bug lately...last night I got a 3 pound 11 ounce pig out of a mud puddle that a friend says is the biggest to come out of it. His best at that spot is 3 pounds 5 ounces.
Looks good. That is still pretty good mileage off of 4 days. The one thing I notice is that most of your mileage is being run in the same pace range. It isn't a big deal, and you are getting rest days, but I personally like a little more variation. Try to get a little form work in if you can (like accelerations, speed work, drills) if you can. I would also continue to do a bit of core and leg strength work...even if its just band walk type stuff.
ReplyDeleteI hope the ankle gets better.
BTW nice Bass. There are some big ones down there that is for sure. Do you have a kayak by chance...to get out of the "puddles"?
I had plans to do speed work Saturday, but a friend invited me to Sarasota for the weekend...
ReplyDeleteI had though about getting a kayak last Summer, but it never happened. I've been looking at john boats recently because they have more room and I could go with a friend easily. It would definitely be nice to get off the banks and actually get to the good fish.
