If you continue this simple practice every day, you will obtain some wonderful power. Before you attain it, it is something wonderful, but after you attain it, it is nothing special. ~ Shunryu Suzuki, Zen Mind, Beginner's Mind

I ended up with a lot of social stuff this week hence all the missed days.
I'm probably going to take some of this week off. My ankle was bothering me a little last week and I don't want to risk re injury. It is only annoying and not painful. It isn't bothering me when I run, just in the morning and during the day at the office.
Also, I got bit by the Bass bug lately...last night I got a 3 pound 11 ounce pig out of a mud puddle that a friend says is the biggest to come out of it. His best at that spot is 3 pounds 5 ounces.

9:00 - I'm not sure why I bothered with this, but I had been fishing from 10 to 7:30 and thought it made sense to at least get something in.

Man...The beginning of this week kicked my ass. I really have to stop loading most of my miles into a few days. It's just stupid.
I was thinking about doing 3 workouts a week - Monday Hills, Wednesday Long, and Saturday Intervals, Tempo, or Race...but I might need to stick to 2 workouts a week to start. Maybe Tuesday do either hills or long intervals (1K) and a long run Saturday or Sunday. The rest of the time I want to try doubles to get to 7-10 miles a day. I'm interested to see if I can manage it.

3.18M - 7:01, 7:12, 6:59, 1:09 - Lots if little hills in the second mile and the course was a little long. I felt about the same as the last tempo, but my legs were tired. I felt a lot fresher in the last one. I guess that's good.

My run Thursday felt great, but I wish I had been able to get it in on Wednesday instead.
I need to start getting some intervals in on Saturdays. I'm thinking about doing hills on Monday, long run on Wednesday, and intervals, tempo, or race on Saturdays.
